Terms of Service

These terms govern access to and use of the 7SANDZ platform for managing multi-tier distribution networks. Using the platform means agreeing to them.

Accounts and access

Access is granted through accounts that sit at a defined position in a network - manufacturer, distributor or sub-dealer. Each account holder is responsible for keeping their credentials secure and for activity carried out under their account. Access levels follow the role assigned within the network.

Who owns the data

The operational data a network puts into the platform - its structure, orders, dispatches, receipts, credit and payment records - belongs to the network that provided it. The platform is granted the permission needed to store and process that data in order to deliver the service.

Acceptable use

The platform may be used to run and analyse a distribution network and the tiers within it. It may not be used to attempt to access data belonging to another network, to interfere with the operation of the service, or for any unlawful purpose. Access rights must not be shared in ways that bypass the role-based scoping built into the system.

Allocation and insights

Features such as demand-based allocation, bottleneck detection and forecasting produce suggestions and indicators based on the data available. They are decision-support tools. Final commercial decisions - how much stock to move, how much credit to extend - remain with the network operator.

Availability

The service is provided on an ongoing basis, with reasonable effort to keep it available and to give notice of planned maintenance where it is practical to do so. Access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond reasonable control.

Limitation of liability

The platform supports the running of a distribution network; it does not replace the operator's own commercial judgement. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to what is directly attributable to the service, and does not extend to indirect or consequential losses arising from commercial decisions made using it.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the platform evolves. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
